Team Summer is a non-profit that helps kids with cancer find purpose and connection during some of the toughest days of their lives. Summer Dale, who lost her life to cancer at age 16, discovered that when she was focused on helping other kids with cancer, she wasn’t thinking about her own pain. Today, our Team Summer kids are reaching out to kids they meet on their cancer journeys, giving them awesome gifts that help distract them from their difficult treatments. And once kids with cancer get a gift, they become Team Summer kids, too, and then it’s their turn to find another kid with cancer to help. Just like Summer, our Team Summer kids have something positive and uplifting to do…right in the middle of all they are enduring.
